ETAIN launches two Citizen Labs in Barcelona and Utrecht to involve communities in the co-design of the study to collect data on RF-EMF exposure and impact.
Barcelona
The Citizen Lab in Barcelona focuses on the co-creation of the application to measure RF-EMF exposure.
Following a citizen-science approach communities:
Identify what are their concerns related to electromagnetic exposure.
Participate in hands-on workshops to help develop the app according to their expectations.
Utrecht
The Citizen Lab in Utrecht focuses on building a web based public exposure portal where the public can access information about:
Generic RF-EMF exposure data on different types of usage by age groups, exposure maps and dose calculations.
Personal data on use, exposure and recommendations.
In this exposure portal, citizens can access information about personal, environmental and population RF-EMF from User Equipment use.
